It is another round of sunscreen (mostly) empties review! I use sunscreen everyday, even if I don’t leave home. I use up 50ml every 4 to 6 weeks and empty around 9 to 13 facial… I have launched my own guasha brand – JOYCE B. Okay, people who knew me when I was working in Shanghai knows that I am obsessed with guasha massages. Who doesn’t? It is pretty crazy… This is a collaboration post with Hoiyin from UK! Hoiyin and I “met” each other via wordpress a few years back. I think we first met via Stashy’s comment section. We’re chatting the other day… Spotted Hubble contact lens on Instagram. Their marketing was very catchy: 15 pairs for 1 euro, I couldn’t resist. What a bargain! I didn’t know that budget contact lens existed before I saw Hubble. Anyways,… This was a REAL hotel, this was not a hostel. I really did only pay JPY2970 (+/-USD30) for 3 nights. This was one of my proudest travel bargain moment. Swimming in the wild was addictive. After I had a taste of it in Mossman Gorge, I was totally hooked and signed up for the waterfall tour. I took that last spot 😛 So glad that I made it. This is review post – Cape Trib Connections’ waterfall tour. Matsuejo is an original remaining castle. It has never faced any battle and hence only had minor repairs. It is the only remaining castle in the Sanin region. Japan castle ranking? 2nd largest in size and 3rd tallest amongst the other 11 remaining castles of Japan (**exclude all the replica / rebuilt). Nickname: Black Castle or Plover CastleLatest

Right next to the Takachiho Gorge there were some intriguing food stalls. At this place, ‘you snooze or you lose’ had a new meaning. That’s right, the noodle floated along the bamboo, but not into your bowl… if you didn’t catch it in time, they just fly off the cliff. This style of serving udon was the regional specialty, nagashi somen 😀 Welcome to Kabushima Shrine, shrine of the sea gulls. Located on a beach with beautiful view, plus thousands of sea gulls. It was probably a good thing that I didn’t know about the celebrity status of this restaurant prior to the visit. I had no expectation and knew no hype. It was just a meet up with an old friend. In fact, I suggested let’s do Mc Donald *LOL* I just wanted to hang out. The original dish name was Filets de Poisson en Écailles Croustillantes. This mouthful name of a dish was the actual name. lol. The quickest that I’ve ever completed this dish was 1.5 hours. Got to love cooking to do this & I LOVE this dish 😉 Here is the recipe to recreate Paul Bocuse’s signature dish at home. I want to share this because the stadium over here is WAY different from back home. Not allowed to bring a whole bunch of things. Here’s my findings from my visit to Stade de France.
