It is another round of sunscreen (mostly) empties review! I use sunscreen everyday, even if I don’t leave home. I use up 50ml every 4 to 6 weeks and empty around 9 to 13 facial… I have launched my own guasha brand – JOYCE B. Okay, people who knew me when I was working in Shanghai knows that I am obsessed with guasha massages. Who doesn’t? It is pretty crazy… This is a collaboration post with Hoiyin from UK! Hoiyin and I “met” each other via wordpress a few years back. I think we first met via Stashy’s comment section. We’re chatting the other day… Spotted Hubble contact lens on Instagram. Their marketing was very catchy: 15 pairs for 1 euro, I couldn’t resist. What a bargain! I didn’t know that budget contact lens existed before I saw Hubble. Anyways,… Under 4000 people commune in Loire Atlantique, western France. Yes, it’s small. It’s like walking in real life Beauty and the Beast though. All that classic old French town springs to life. This is a quiet town. Nothing is jumping out, but it is just so pleasant to stroll around. Fantastic escape from city life! According to tripadvisor, the jewel of Plaza de Cibeles is the fountain. No offence, but running through busy traffic to get to the fountain isn’t my idea of fun. In any case, in the same plaza, I found Cibeles Palace (aka Palacio de Cibeles / Palace of Communication) far more interesting and safe to visit. This gorgeous building was free to visit! Free exhibitions, free wifi, free work desks, tons… Welcome to South Africa, my humble home, country of smiling people, song singing, African sun… and a bunch of wild animals 😀 Driving along on garden route and get to Kleinbaai (in English, ‘Small bay’, but no SA person will understand you if you say small bay lol). The drive is my favourite. It is super scenic and easy drive. Watch out for the speed limits!! There are lots of…Latest

At this farm, wasabi plant get bathed in Hotaka alps fresh water 24/7 and their very own sun shades. How’s that for a life, huh? Hotaka 穂高 (Azumino city 安曇野市), 30min train ride from Matsumoto. This small town is a hidden gem. Mainly farms and well maintained hikes. Nature is all over here. Their main attraction here is undoubtedly the Daio Wasabi Farm 大王わさび農場. This is one of the largest wasabi farm in Japan. I love pho! There’s magic in the Vietnamese broth and the wonders of rice noodles. After ‘phorathon’ in 13eme, here’s favourite and my worst. We were a table of 12. It was instant magic, 12 people fitted into a 6 -8 seater. Guess what KFC stands for? Korean Fried Chicken (LOL) no kidding. Environment: Lovely warm ambiance. Spacious and high ceiling. Toilet was spacious too; can improve by applying more diligence. Service: Great! Attentive and they even held the wine bottle properly (At last, someone who actually knew how to waiter properly) Food: They messed up my tuna steak – over cooked, way too much salt AND managed to make the fish texture hard (from dehydration?) 🙁 Fondant au chocolate… Asian, over 30 with dehydrated combination skin. 3 simple reasons for my harsh verdict on Dior face & body foundation. My review include wet/dry swatch comparison, wear test (with macro close up to the skin) and ingredient list. For interest sake, I have inserted a comparison chart with MAC face & body foundation. This is the 5th round for 10 impressions of Paris. I am sharing how I experience Paris as an immigrant in her 30s. I almost don’t have the guts to crawl back into blog writing. Let’s do a recap of the year that technically didn’t happen. Warning, photos are unedited, it maybe triggering.
