It is another round of sunscreen (mostly) empties review! I use sunscreen everyday, even if I don’t leave home. I use up 50ml every 4 to 6 weeks and empty around 9 to 13 facial… I have launched my own guasha brand – JOYCE B. Okay, people who knew me when I was working in Shanghai knows that I am obsessed with guasha massages. Who doesn’t? It is pretty crazy… This is a collaboration post with Hoiyin from UK! Hoiyin and I “met” each other via wordpress a few years back. I think we first met via Stashy’s comment section. We’re chatting the other day… Spotted Hubble contact lens on Instagram. Their marketing was very catchy: 15 pairs for 1 euro, I couldn’t resist. What a bargain! I didn’t know that budget contact lens existed before I saw Hubble. Anyways,… Symbol of Cape Town and my compass (towards the mountain = towards town). It is a daily beautiful sight for Capetonians. Table Mountain – 1 of the 7 natural wonders in the world Feature: Naturally flat top mountain, 1086m above sea level. It hosts 1470+ rare and endangered floral species. Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day? Thou is more lovely… Well, it was glorious weather… if 3 degrees did not bother me. Welcome to the pristine Sweden! More precisely, Köpstadsö island. This island had 100 permanent residents and ZERO cars. The only wheels found on the island were wheelbarrows. Yup, this place really exists.Latest

Takachiho was an ancient town on the north of Miyazaki, Japan. Believed to be the holy ground where the Gods descended. So yeah, myths / legends and the bunch was born here. Well known for their breath-taking Takachiho Gorge, Kunimigaoka heavenly cloud hike and 1200+ years old shrine. The prefecture pamphlets tended to only show the Gorge, but their shrines could easily rival Izumo shrine – less crowds and older trees. We were on our way to Tottori sand dunes, but missed our stop. We landed up in Iwami and its beautiful coastline. Brownies to the lost ones. Wahaha. I just love Japan. Anywhere I get lost, it… It was probably a good thing that I didn’t know about the celebrity status of this restaurant prior to the visit. I had no expectation and knew no hype. It was just a meet up with an old friend. In fact, I suggested let’s do Mc Donald *LOL* I just wanted to hang out. How to start this one? I was craving for some ramen… WHAT on EARTH were they doing?!?!?!?! First of all, the original Hakata concept was simplicity and rustic feeling. So WHY on earth did they glam up and botox the London branch? That’s right, I felt that they’ve BOTOX the place. Environment: Lovely warm ambiance. Spacious and high ceiling. Toilet was spacious too; can improve by applying more diligence. Service: Great! Attentive and they even held the wine bottle properly (At last, someone who actually knew how to waiter properly) Food: They messed up my tuna steak – over cooked, way too much salt AND managed to make the fish texture hard (from dehydration?) 🙁 Fondant au chocolate… This is the 5th round for 10 impressions of Paris. I am sharing how I experience Paris as an immigrant in her 30s.
