Yey!! My box made it for the weekend!!! Let’s unbox. Inspired by my fairer doppelganger Stashy from Stash Matters. She said open tag, so I politely tag myself 😛 City Pharma is the French drugstore cosmetic haul here in Paris. Crowd is a very serious issue. The whole of Paris is in the store by 11h00 even on a week day. This is a clay based mask that sucks everything out of my skin – dirt and moist. I do love a good clean, so I always tolerate dehydration for seriously cleanliness. This mask CLEANS! (love) Went to this water town with my ex-boss and husband as my farewell 🙂 I am a lucky girl, my boss and colleagues were all sweethearts. This is only a 90min drive from downtown Shanghai. Great for a get away from the urban jungle. Note, this is not an escape from the crowds. This is still China with its 1.4 billion people. Yey! Another ferry ride at Port Blanc. Love doing that. Baden was quite the spot for island hopping. The islands were wine & party ready, but in the French chic way (not Phi Phi, Thailand). The accuracy of what’s going on was sketchy, given that I only understood 30% of the time. This was part of my immersion French course. This Victoria cemetery has been around since 1840. It is the perfect serene escape from the busy London life. While it does not have a crowd of famous tombs, it is certainly more cemetery like that the camera blazing Highgate cemetery. Plus, this is a freebie to visit. Kyoto, touristic mega town! And this shrine draws even more people. While I work on my blog admin, I realised that I haven’t written anything about Kyoto besides my maiko experience. This place is so well covered anyways.
