A freebie France only experience. This museum is run by Fragonard. This brand is well known in France but almost unheard of overseas. Fragonard doesn’t advertise. Fond memories of my year there. Here are the quirks that I miss. Yey! It is our 3rd collaboration. Stashy is from Toronto, Canada. She is super organised and this was her fabulous idea. Being a beauty hoarder myself, I certainly will not pass up any opportunity to… I am rather fond of skiing. You know, the graceful movement of ski and lovely landscape. The only bad part is that I am TERRIBLE at it. I fall very gracefully, regularly and move quickly out of the way. Is that good sportsmanship or what? In any case, in the lovely French Alps with my spirit ran high, I decided to ski in the blue lane. Fantastic idea! Cruising along and enjoy the speed… BOOM, SPLAT… crashed into the service station. Right next to the Takachiho Gorge there were some intriguing food stalls. At this place, ‘you snooze or you lose’ had a new meaning. That’s right, the noodle floated along the bamboo, but not into your bowl… if you didn’t catch it in time, they just fly off the cliff. This style of serving udon was the regional specialty, nagashi somen 😀 This beautiful day trip kicked off from the scenic train ride. Check this view from the train… (20min ride from Hakodate) Onuma Quasi national Park, Nanae – 大沼公園, 七飯町 I loved this park. It was HUGE and plenty of paths to get lost in the woods. The lake was the central feature, even a wanderer like me couldn’t get completely lost. This place was on the way to La Maison de Foret. Easy access. Anyone can do this in flip flops or barefoot. 2 min walk on paved road to the waterfall. Fab wild swim offering! Latest
