Here’s my lists for Prague’s top scams and how to prevent them. Okay, scam is a strong word, but you know what I mean. This list comprises of some out right scams and unsavoury (sneaky) business tactics. This maybe a strange way to start my Prague article series, but hey, Prague is a well covered topic amongst travel blogs. Why not start with something practical?

The Glass Palace (aka Palacio de Cristal) is an iron/glass architecture found inside the Retiro Park, Madrid. As you know, I am an “arrive first found out later” sort of tourist, so I found this place via following a crowd LOL inside the relatively calm Retiro Park (Parque de El Retiro).

This was a seriously thrifty trip. Hubby and I stayed at a guesthouse (more like a local home). The key expense was transport LOL. Surrounded by beautiful rice paddy and various farms. I was a solo female traveller. Yup, I hitch hiked 😛 After 5 consecutive failed cherry blossom trips, I  decided to do something crazy… fly to Japan with the JR pass and just chase the blossoms. That means zero accommodation booking ahead of time. I traveled to wherever the news reported that the blossom was happening. This must be one of my most cherished memory 😀
