As usual, I did not plan this at all. It was the earliest available ferry.

Outlying island of Hong Kong, it had the old school charm of a fishing port. Smells a little bit fishy, but hey, chilled and lovely. Nice change from the main island.

Fishing. Cheung Chau, Hong Kong
Upon arrival, this is what I saw on my left. Chilled for HK, right?

Wandering aimlessly does have its merit. I came across this old temple. This Taoist temple was called Pak Tai 北帝廟 or Yuk Hui 玉虛宮. I had no idea why it had 2 names. Identity crisis happened to temples too, I guess.

Caught the nostalgia bug today while visiting Hong Kong. It has been 2 years since I’ve officially left Shanghai! Those 8 crazy years in Mordor (locals called it ‘modu’ 魔都). Shanghai was glitsy, cosmopolitan and pure madness. Funny enough, I only miss 8 things about Shanghai. None of them are particularly glamourous.

I have lived in this hood for about 9 months. Things are already getting quite ‘stale’ lol. One day, I decided to fresh things up and take a different route. Voila, lost *lol*. It took me an additional 30min to get home, but hey, eventually I got home. Anyhow, this has now become a habit.
