Here is another round of 10 observations that amuses me. Guadeloupe is EVERYTHING! There are jungle hikes, mega affordable snorkel/SCUBA, canyoning, tons of rhum+++ Cherry on top? They have whales. Hop along the Les Heures Saines! It is SUNNY and it is Friday!!! I got the box early enough to get some sunny pics. Unbox time!!! 😀 This was a spirit of the moment visit. We had no camera. Here comes a ”phonto” post. Let’s go! Cacao house (museum) This is a JR seasonal train. It only operates in July to September. Book in advance is essential. Been around since 597AD, this UNESCO site did not disappoint. She is the oldest church in England. The place was well maintained.The Gothic architecture was magnificent. This was definitely worthy of a day trip from London. Trace des douanier, the easier hiking trail within Trace de la Grande Falaise. Sharing what to expect from this hike from a leisure hiker. Outlying island of Hong Kong, it had the old school charm of a fishing port. Smells a little bit fishy, but hey, chilled and lovely. Nice change from the main island. Wandering aimlessly does have its merit. I came across this old temple. This Taoist temple was called Pak Tai 北帝廟 or Yuk Hui 玉虛宮. I had no idea why it had 2 names.
