Here is another round of 10 observations that amuses me. Guadeloupe is EVERYTHING! There are jungle hikes, mega affordable snorkel/SCUBA, canyoning, tons of rhum+++ Cherry on top? They have whales. Here comes a ”phonto” post. Let’s go! Cacao house (museum) On my first night in Madrid, I went on the Spanish Inquisition Tour by Sandemans. What can I say? I am a sucker for walking tours. This is a daily tour available at 19h00 from Plaza Mayor. My tour guide was a lovely British girl, Lexi. The tour lasts about 3 hours and a walk around Opera, Callao and Santo Domingo. Please note that although it is advertised in the “free tour” pamphlet, this is NOT a free tour. This tour has a flat rate. Cape of Agulhas is the REAL southern tip of Africa where the 2 oceans meet – Indian ocean and Atlantic ocean. This place is approximately 3 hours drive from Cape Town. HUGE tea bath & roof top swimming pool alert! Surprise find, Day Plus Teascape 茶样子 boutique hotel in Chiayi – I spent 30% of my time in their tea bath (in the room); as oppose to my 90% commitment to sleeping like a pig. Luxury experience at a fraction of the normal cost! Walking around in Kumamoto City without any map… (lost) I had a bit of a ‘tottoro’ discovery moment. Wandering around aimlessly had much merit.
