I have just moved to Paris! No internet at home yet. Living in the dark ages, my friends. Currently using ‘borrowed wifi’. Will reply to your comments asap. Fellow bloggers, I will catch up on your blogs ???? I have scheduled posts for every Friday up to the end of the month. The UK travel posts are in draft mode. Slowly catching up on those. Keep writing, writing… Apologies that… It was a city get away that I highly cherished. Stunning experience! It was just a train ride away in London zone 6 rail. This was 45min cave tour lead by a wonderful guide / actor / entertainer, Peter. He sang, bellowed and whispered stories of druids, people and ghost that stayed in this same cave. In the darkness, let the imagination ran wild… The weather was not working with me that day, but it did not diminish this beauty. Kairakuen is one of the official top 3 gardens of Japan. What criteria do they use to derive this? I do not know 😛 It is an official title though, Kairakuen is one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan (日本三名園 Nihon Sanmeien). The other 2 are Korakuen of Okayama and Kenrokuen of Kanazawa. We stayed at Shiroganeya 白銀屋 in Shibu, Yudanaka. This was a smaller ryokan establishment in the area 😀 Let’s take a peep together? What do they do when there’s no snow? Journalists are obsessed with their snowed up look. Without the snow, they do look less funny 😛 but hey, they are cute with or without the snow. Snow monkey is uniquely Japanese. They NATURALLY go for onsen baths in winter. This is their way to keep warm, well, and to get a red flush of colour for their faces.
