100% empties – skincare edition. Everything was purchased with my own money or from gift with purchase. There are some that came in my subscription box, which I also paid for 😉 Zero PR, twice the fun with words LOL Most of the product were purchased in brick-and-mortar stores, because I am old school. Where possible, I do try to insert the brand’s official site for reference.
Primark PS Blemish blaster 20 clear gel patches
Made in Korea
This stuff WORKS. No idea why I have been breaking like crazy earlier on this year. This stuff was a saviour. These blemish busting stickers dried out my pimples like no other product, SOOOO fantastic. It’s LOVE x 1000. Salicylic acid is it’s 3rd ingredient. The 2nd ingredient is a solvent. These patches don’t play around!
Okay, there’re 5 empties here. I don’t want to repeat myself on how much I love this stuff. Yes, this is the type of product that when I see it in the store, I grab 10. No exaggeration needed. The nearest Primark is far far away from where I live, so when I do go, I stock up on this stuff.
Repurchase: Yes (I’ve already bought another 10 packs as backup)
Official site: Primark didn’t list it on their site, sorry. This is a Primark, so yes, you have to get this in store yourself.
Yves Rocher cleansing miceller oil pure calmille 150ml
Made in France
This thing is beyond USELESS. It has great adhesion, but it doesn’t clean off mascara probably no matter how I use it. I am no spring chicken when it comes to cleansing oil. What type of rubbish formula is this? On top of this useless of an oil, the bloody bottle leaks. Yup, use your imagination on how bad this stuff is. That super strong vanilla bean fragrance is borderline nausiating. Horrible product. I really did suffer through this one. I deserve ovation for finishing this horror of a product.

Naturie hatomugi skin conditioner 500ml
Made in Japan
I love using this fragrance-free toner with my Hitachi Hada CRiE ionic machine. The formula is mild and worked well together with my machine for pore cleansing and moisturising. It made my skin souple and moist. There is a good reason why this is a Japanese drugstore favourite for a such a long time.
Repurchase: Absolutely yes
Official site: Sorry, I didn’t manage to find it.
Muji oil cleansing 200ml
Made in Japan
(I think they’ve made an error with the product name though)
I like that it doesn’t have fragrance and the packaging is sleek. Its texture is more emollient than Biore’s but not as thick as DHC cleansing oil. I feel that it doesn’t emulsify well enough for worry-free cleansing though. So meh?

DHC face wash 200ml
Made in Japan
Gentle cleansing and low on foam, leaving my skin cleansed but not striped. I love this stuff. Super gentle and fragrance free. LOVE. The bottle is well designed so that there’s no “shoot” out incident if you know what I mean.

Offcial site: DHC France
I usually buy DHC products from Nocibé instead of my favourite pharmacy, City Pharma (cheapest pharmacy cosmetics in Paris , no online store), but because they put them in the lower shelves, I always get kicked by their raging customers. O please, Nocibé regularly does 25% off sales, so it is really way more “safe” for me to buy DHC there instead.
REN rosa centifolia 3-in-1 cleansing water 50ml
Made in UK
Another useless product. It smells nice, but that’s all that it does. Zero cleansing power. It doesn’t even clean cream lipstick properly sort of weak. Kind of glad that it came from my little box and not me buying it right from a store. I can imagine how pissed off I would me otherwise.
O, so much for all that “for sensitive skin and delicate eye area” marketing BS. This stuff irritated my skin quite a bit and stung my eyes. I was a good sport and manged to finish it for cleansing arm swatches. $#%@%&!% product.

Nuxe clarifying cream mask with rose petals for sensitive skin 50ml
Made in France
Strongly rose scented, in a rather feminine-fresh way (7th on the 30+ items ingredient list). So it was pretty relaxing to smell it whilst waiting for the mask to settle.
How is strongly perfumed product good for sensitive skin? It didn’t stung me, but just saying. It is VERY weird to have fragrance for a product that is for sensitive skin.
It has a dry, dough-like texture to it. Before the purchase, I was expecting more clay action, but hey, now I know. When it drys down on the face, it doesn’t get that hard. At least not as hard like the Kiehls Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Mask. This rose mask still cleans alright with a light sensation of freshness after wash-off. My skin doesn’t feel tight afterwards. So I’d say that it is a decent product.

Clinique foaming sonic facial soap 30ml
Made in Belgium
Leaving my skin feeling tight and uncomfortable all by itself. #$@$@^ cleanser really. It foams more than it cleans. If I use it with my sonic brush, it’s creates Sahara deluxe. Hell bad. I suffered through by using it as a hand soap.
Repurchase: Are you kidding? If I see it in my next gift with purchase, I’ll just throw it away.

Dermalogica precleanse balm 15ml
Made in USA
Got this one in my little box a while back. It came with a little silicon tool, but I’ve probably thrown it away somewhere along the line. Anyways, this is USELESS. Doesn’t clean makeup properly and it doesn’t come off the face either LOL I have really given this thing a go hey. I tried all 15ml on my face. Diabolical product, do not try. wahahah

Clinique moisture surge overnight mask 15ml
Made in Belgium
I am a huge fan of their day cream, so when this one came along I was super psyched to try it. It did not disappoint. Waking up with pumped soft skin! I like it. Between the Laneige sleep mask and this one, I’d think the Clinque is better for winter and it doesn’t have fragrance.

I am feeling quite good! My stashing is slowly diminishing!!! Yey!!! I really should have unsubscribed my little box earlier, but I was kind of addicted to the traffic that it brought to my blog before. So glad that I am no longer hostage to that.
Have you tried any of these? What’s your thoughts?
Until next time 😉
