This restaurant had it all going. Ninja waitrons, Ninja receptionist, trap doors, magic scrolls, magic show, ninja themed food…
As novelty as their food may look, they were pretty tasty. The lighting was almost non existent. I was almost lost after visiting their restroom. I couldn’t find my own table. The setting of the restaurant was like a maze as well, so that was not helping.
Their mini-magic show at the table was super cute 😀 I love it that even that was ninja themed haha. *Magic show was complimentary 😀
Each table had its own ‘room’ with sliding door. It was quite an intimate experience. I really enjoyed it.
Tip:
DSLR is not an option. It is a must. The lighting is BAD. Mirrorless won’t do it either if you want good photos. As you can see my phone photos… phone camera is a BAD idea
Booking is ESSENTIAL!!! Don’t try to just rock up, very likely to be disappointed even for a week night.

I checked the website, its very expensive compared to Melbourne prices.
???? It is noveltry/decorative food. Paying for the ‘show’ I suppose? ???? their set course menu is better value
Sounds and looks fantastic Joyce, thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Denis. I am glad that readers can still sort of see what the food looked like. It was way too dim for my phone haha
This is so cool, ninja eating skills!
Haha ja, low light condition dining
This is hilarious and SO COOL! You inspired me to go, especially now that I know that food was also good, and I will make sure to take my DSLR with me! xoxo, nano | http://www.travelwithnanob.com
