HUGE tea bath & roof top swimming pool alert! Surprise find, Day Plus Teascape 茶样子 boutique hotel in Chiayi – I spent 30% of my time in their tea bath (in the room); as oppose to my 90% commitment to sleeping like a pig. Luxury experience at a fraction of the normal cost!

Mutianyu 慕田峪 萬里長城 in December was just great. Quiet and not that many people – less than 100? This was my 4th time up on the Great Wall and by far the quietest I’ve seen.

Anyone else with a compulsive blog theme shopping problem out there? I should really concentrate on creating contents, but I just can’t help myself looking around for themes.

Ryukyu was the old version word for Okinawa. This theme park recreated the times of Ryuku kingdom, a cultural type of theme park. It was small, so 2-3 hours was suffice, unless you decide to make your own pottery, glass or other local hand craft. The park was very Japanese, not much English happens here. Went to this water town with my ex-boss and husband as my farewell 🙂 I am a lucky girl, my boss and colleagues were all sweethearts. This is only a 90min drive from downtown Shanghai. Great for a get away from the urban jungle. Note, this is not an escape from the crowds. This is still China with its 1.4 billion people.
