This restaurant had it all going. Ninja waitrons, Ninja receptionist, trap doors, magic scrolls, magic show, ninja themed food…
The weather was not working with me that day, but it did not diminish this beauty. Kairakuen is one of the official top 3 gardens of Japan. What criteria do they use to derive this? I do not know 😛 It is an official title though, Kairakuen is one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan (日本三名園 Nihon Sanmeien). The other 2 are Korakuen of Okayama and Kenrokuen of Kanazawa.
I am a HUGE fan of Nissin noodles. I buy them in cases and occasionally dream about them. Anyways, this trip was more of a ‘pilgrimage’ to Nissin. Just a little bit of history here. Mr Momofuku Ando 安藤 百福 1910-2007, invented THE chicken instant noodle (Chikin ramen チキンラーメン) in 1958. This revolutionised the world – quick meal to treat hungry salary men of Japan, inspiration to space travel meal, the benchmark for noodle preservation technology. The ultimate solution to long nights of gaming, of course. The museum housed the replica of the original kitchen where Mr Ando created the first instant noodle.
This was the reason why my husband was glad that my ex went with me to Puroland…… In fact, he even told me to keep my Hello Kitty photo together with my ex. He thought that I looked lovely with Kitty (+ex)?!?!? Clearly my hubby does not want to go at all. How many husbands out there will compliment a photo with wife’s ex AND encourage to keep the photo? One desperate husband lol. What’s wrong with Puroland? The shows were cute. In fact everything was cute and largely pink. How to get there? Keio Tama Center station Direct train from Yokohama – 1 hour-ish 1 change from Shinjuku (Tokyo) – just under an hour http://en.puroland.jp/attraction/ Please be a sweetheart & follow one of my social media xox Bloglovin’ / Google+ / Twitter / Instagram / Facebook / Pinterest
