Starting a new series – travel Paris one zone at a time. Today’s post will focus on the islands, home to UNESCO site and the ice cream legend Berthillon. A freebie France only experience. This museum is run by Fragonard. This brand is well known in France but almost unheard of overseas. Fragonard doesn’t advertise. They’re well known here because they’ve been around since 1926.
This post is long overdue. It has been 9 months since I’ve left London! Fond memories of my year there. Here are the quirks that I miss.
Although this isn’t a UNESCO site like Canterbury, this cathedral is pretty old. It was built in 1077–1893. It is the OLDEST continuous Christian worship in Britain. Interesting story of selfless sacrifice to save a friend too. Best part yet? Zero crowd!!!
Fête de la Musique 2017 Paris! What a blast! What’s better than 1700 bands playing on the streets and a bunch of drunk Parisians?
